Because everyone is sharing their thoughts I wanted to share something that may give people a bit of hope. I was not even a little surprised at the outcome of the election. America is addicted to fear, anger, drama, war and so many other unhealthy traits. Like any addiction it takes one to hit truly rock bottom, most of the time, before one can get help. I believed GW was rock bottom 8 years ago for our country but the honest truth from my POV is that we have not really changed since our beginning of this country. We like to think that one side is better than the other but neither has been truly working towards peace and love. One side just does a better job with thie PR to make people think they are working that way.
Am I scared? NO, fear is exactly what has gotten us into this situation. We need to love and let go as a whole. Yes, the country is in a pickle now, but it truly already was. We have been in a constant state of war for decades and honestly pretty much since the inception of America. War, hate, fear and anger are some of the core values of our country and why we spend the largest amount of our governmental and also corporate spending to keep it going. Why? Fear again. Fear is the basis of our country and we have to let go and love for truly the first time.
Over the past 8 years, an extreme form of hate towards people of color has been brewing. As much as I loved having an African American president, he brought the worst out of so many people and this racial split in the country got much larger. For much of the US, they banned together with a common enemy. The fact that still to this day everyone calls the affordable care act, Obamacare, is just proof enough. Obamacare was a slur against him but most people used it.
So what is the solution? We have to love and forgive. This is a must. The first step is to forgive ourselves, and then forgiving anyone we feel resentment to.
Next love more. We must do this. Hate and fear have brought us to where we are.

While I was on the plane down to Miyoko’s Kitchen on Monday I meditated for the first time in nearly a year and I had a very powerful experience. I was able to stay in the moment for about 25 minutes. Once I finished, I had the sensation of wanting more. 🙂
So there are my thoughts for today. I hope that something in this helps you with the process of healing from last night’s events. I am honestly very excited for the future and I know that the more that we Love and Give, the better we will feel and the quicker our planet will heal.
Peace my friends,
Love Josh.
I also wanted to share that for the past 2 weeks I have been humming this song to myself out of the blue. The universe is clearly telling me something.
